Addy loves to sing, and her choir performances at church are no different! This year they didn't do a specific Children's choir play and performance and instead had them do a few songs during the adult Choir Extravaganza. Since Addy was only going to sing two or three songs I didn't make a big deal about it. However, to a five year...even 2 songs on stage is a big deal! :) She was quite heartbroken to find out that no one was coming to see her sing that night. It never crossed my mind to invite the grandparents this time.
I am so thankful that my in-laws have a flexible schedule. We called them up literally hours before the show and invited them. They dropped everything and came to make Addy's night!
