Elliotte is 5 Months

This is what we refer to as 'the look.' Girl can give a stank eye!!

5 Months and rocking it in her 6 month clothing already!

My sweet little chunk has made huge improvements this month! She is still quite the feisty little baby, but she is showing her soft side a lot more lately.

She is a cuddly little thing! She loves to snuggle and rock. She especially loves to curl up with her mama and sleep. It is so sweet, but unfortunately, mama just can't get good sleep that way. We attempted sleep training at the beginning of the month. It was going smooth for a while and then we plummeted in the other direction. So sadly, I gave in and she ended up back in my room sleeping with me most of the night again. Right now we are still waking about 3 to 4 times a night, sometimes more.

Elli is still exclusively breastfed. This girl loves her meal times! She definitely takes eating serious as evidence by her adorable little knee rolls! She is filling out all her 6 month clothing and wearing size 2 diapers.

Sweet Elliotte is making major improvements in her coping abilities in social situations. She is much more friendly and even offers a few smiles occasionally. She is starting to pay attention more to her surroundings and spend a little more time taking in new sights rather than fighting them off.

We have given up the pacifier because she pretty much refuses it all the time. However, her fingers are always in her mouth!

This sweet girl still loves her mama most and I can pretty much get her to smile when no one else can. (Not that I'm bragging or anything! *Wink*) She wants me in the room with her at all times and is instantly upset if left to play on her own. She wants to at least be able to hear my voice.

Elli also is showing signs of catching up physically. She is still only rolling tummy to back very randomly and shows no signs of meaning to yet. She is grabbing more toys but not without some prompting. She is not very coordinated in getting things to her mouth yet but making progress.

Elliotte is most definitely not  a fan of the bumbo. She either completely slumps over or tries to throw herself out. However, using the boppy for support she can almost sit up on her own.

We got out the jumperoo for Elli this month. She only lasts about 5 minutes before the lights and music become over stimulating, but we are making progress.

Elli loves bath time. She is a kicker and splasher.

This baby girl is a loud little talker. She loves to scream at the top of her lungs whether its happy or sad! She just figured out how to blow raspberries so she is a spit covered little thing these days!

Sweet Elliotte! We are absolutely in love with you!! I  cannot wait to continue watching her little personality bloom!
