A Family of Friends

We have had a busy weekend. On Thursday, Nana and Papa (Bradley's Parents) came to visit. Addy stayed with them on Friday while I was at work. She had a wonderful day and got some great quality time with the family! On Friday, Chris and Anna (Bradley's oldest brother) and his three boys, Travis, Isaac, and Jacob came in to visit. We had a great time visiting and playing. We don't get to see those sweet boys nearly often enough, and they change so much from one time to the next. Addy had so much fun playing with Jacob. She was sitting in her bumbo and he was playing with her toys and climbing all over her. I am really not sure what triggered it, but she just kept laughing at him! It was hilarious watching these two play together. Addy thought he was quite funny! I put up some fun pictures from the weekend....

A quick note on my new job... I LOVE it! I have had so much fun at Parsons Elementary. They have given me a classroom to be in, which is great of course. I am going to have my own reading class of about 15 that I will work with on a daily basis. I am also going to be do tutoring in math and possibly a first grade intervention group. I am so excited to get rolling. I just got a schedule this week, so I haven't really began it yet. It has been so fun to be a part of great staff. I even learned how to play Bunko this last week after school. I am really still hoping that a full time teaching position will be open for me in January, but I honestly would be a little sad to leave Parsons. It has been a great job and I look forward to the challenges to come.
