Today we had her two week newborn check-up. She weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz. which is way up from last week. She grew another half inch also!! She is very healthy and growing good! She had to get her second newborn screen, (which is drawing blood from her heel!) Mom could not watch, so Bradley got to hold her for that. She did not appreciate being stuck, but cheered up real quick. The doctor commented on how strong she was with her legs. We don't go back now until her 2 month check-up.
After the doctor today we went by Christ the King Child Development Center, which is her daycare. I love the facilities and the staff is great. I am still super nervous about leaving her. I know I will have such a hard time! We are planning on her starting the 27th of August. She will be just over six weeks!
